When we started our journey into the higher calling of God many years ago, we received one word. Manah, and that started us on a journey of discovery and fulfillment. At first we thought it had something to do with manna as angel’s food and us feeding the saints. But on closer inspection we realized that was not the case and God had called us for something different altogether. The word “manah” as used in the original Hebrew means to appoint or count or equip.

An example of this was Jonah and his unfortunate attempt to flee from God and his duty. God sends the storm and the eventuality was that Jonah gets thrown overboard and is swallowed by the fish. But the amazing thing was that God had already appointed (manah) the fish beforehand so that at the moment Jonah was to meet his fate, the fish was ready and prepared. God in His infinite wisdom knew from the foundation of the faith, that there would need to be a fish to swallow Jonah.

That is manah and that is what and who we are at Manah Ministries. God’s will be done as He determined it, from when He determined it. He will ensure equip and prepare vessels for His words to return to Him having accomplished what He pleased. It will not return void because He has appointed (manah) it. We are merely the instrument He uses to appoint, prepare and equip.
